Hectic Few Weeks
Apologies for a long absence.Tonight’s concert at Gnosall will be our third in five weeks, and it promises to be very warm!!
The concert with The Darby Singers at the Anstice Hall in Madeley, was a great success. Both choirs performed exceptionally well, and it was really interesting to see the different types of music, and contrasting styles.Particularly pleasing was the enthusiastic response from both choirs to the performances of the other choir.!!
Briefly, after tonight our next concert will be at Wheaton Aston on Sept !st, followed by a concert with Tamworth Ladies at the Methodist Church in Shifnal on the 6th of October.
We have a joint concert with Cosford Military Wives at the Village Hall in Shifnal on December 1st.

Bishops Wood-June24th
After a long break from concerts, since the concert with Jackfield Band at Oakengates in early April,it was really great to entertain an enthusiastic audience at St.John’s Church in Bishops Wood last night. The programme was a wide and varied one, supplemented with two piano recitals from Anne and Jade.
The church is always a delight to sing in,and on a lovely summer evening, what could be better than lifting the rafters with a range of uplifting music with some new items added, as well as well-loved classics from the repertoire.
We have a busy couple of weeks coming up, at St. Lawrence Church ,Gnosall on Saturday , July 1st, and Christ Church RC in Wellington on July 15th.
It made a big difference having Jade back with us last night-here’s hoping we can go from strength to strength in the coming months!!
